Nelson Mendela Prince of the people

Nelson Mendela was born a prince in the early 1900's in South Africa. When Nelson was growing up a prince he had no servants to wait on him hand and foot. He lived a humble life as a kid. He learned to serve others and that prepared him to be the freedom fighter, lawyer and prince of the people that he was to be. Nelson was put in prison for fighting apartheid for 27 years. Nelson was set free from prison in 1990. Nelson became President of South Africa, won the Noble Peace Prize and rewarded the Presidental Medal of Freedom. Nelson went to glory on December 2013 and he will be deeply missed by the world.
