Calvin Lockhart: Modern Pharaoh of the Upper Nile

Calvin Lockhart would make a wonderful Pharaoh in ancient times. He had all of the wonderful characteristics he was handsome, intelligent, had charisma and a sexy arrogance about him. In modern times he was born Bert Cooper before he chose his stage name Calvin Lockhart. His place of birth was Nassau Bahamas. He moved to the states in his teens. He enrolled in the Cooper Union School of Engineering, but dropped out to pursue an acting career. He had some success in the states before he moved to Italy where he owned a restaurant and his own theater company. Calvin live in Germany for a while before moving to England where he made his mark as artist in residence with the Royal Shakespeare Company in Stratford England the first black man to do so. Calvin Lockhart returned to the states with an impressive resume. After have starring roles in 70's movies as Let's Do it Again and Uptown Saturday night his career became lackluster. In the 80's he had a starring role in Dynasty. Calvin Lockhart died after he had a stroke and with on to be with the Lord on March 29 2007 he will be truly missed.
