There is a king and queen in every african american; 50 years of the march on washington

It is important to remember the march on Washington because it is what my people went through! After we were kings and queens we went through hell and back! The march on Washington was important because we had to fight for freedom! We asked for jobs not welfare or handouts! We asked for our fare share of the American dream! We were tired of living the nightmare! We were also tired of separate but equal! The march on Washington was also important because of the famous I have a dream speech by Dr.Martin Luther King!

The three wise men and the gift of the Magi

There were three wise men from the east and one of them was from Ethiopia bearing the gift of gold or muir. The three wise men followed the north star and found the Christ child. The king from Ethiopia bearing the gift of gold or muir was very rich. You don't read that in the history books! The nativity scene never have a black doll of the king of Ethiopia!

The importantance of traceing one's roots

The importantance of traceing one's roots is needed because it shows your children, grandchildren and greatgrandchildren where their ancestors came from. It's sad that many africanamercians don't know what part of africa their ancestors came from. All they know is that they came from some part of the United States. I plan to trace my root soon and to fine out I plan to take a simple DNA test. All I have to do is to take some cotton and rub the inside of my cheek. Before this it would take months and years to find out what part of Africa my ancestors came from. This would leave a wonderful legacy!
