Pharaoh Amenhotep 111 was born in 24 B.C. He was commander in chief and his wife was Queen Tye. King Tutankhamun

King Tutankhamun ruled at age nine and his wife name was Ankhsenpaaten.  He was the son of

Queen Hatshepsut

The Kingdoms of West Africa

Mr. Eco taught us that there were kingdoms of Ghana, Mali, Songhay and Benin. Ghana was called the city of gold.  Mali was famous for the reign of King Mansa Musa. Benin was famous for her kingly wealth. To read more about these kingdoms look in the book Africa,s Glorious Legacy.

Beyond slavery

african american people need to know their history beyond slavery.  We as a people need to fall in love with all that is African again. Also we as a people need to find out what tribe we came from. For example i would like to know what tribe that i or my family came from.  I want to go beyond my slavery past and beyond the white and indian blood line to get to my African linge.

Mr Eco told us in grade school about all four kingdoms in West Africa. And Mali was one of them.
