Asante
The Asante was a great African tribe in West Africa that was rich in gold, ivory, agriculture and unfortunately slaves! The Asante demanded a thousand slaves a year! The Asante was also an military society which used it's own citizens or subjects! They showed no mercy towards those that were weaker then them! If you want to know more about the Asante read the book Africans: The history of a continent by John Iliffe pg.143!
